'Caps teammate hails Kobayashi arrival: "A pure entertainer"
Vancouver Whitecaps midfielder Jun Marques Davidson believes his club has made a savvy decision by signing his former Omiya Ardija teammate Daigo Kobayashi.
The pair played together for the J. League Division 1 side in 2006, and Davidson – known for clogging up the middle of the park – feels Kobayashi will bring an ability do exactly the opposite: finding gaps in opposing midfields and defenses to create more goal-scoring opportunities for the ‘Caps.
