Tucson Friendlies: Sporting held to 1-1 draw by FC Tucson
Sporting Kansas City failed to overcome a spirited FC Tucson side in the final game of the first day of the Desert Friendlies tournmanet.
Soony Saad opened things up for Sporting early on, burying a diving header to in the seventh minute. The MLS side wouldn’t hold on for long though, with Patrick Wallen finishing off a move he started himself to give the local side an equalizer a few minutes later.
